Dear valued Doctor,
I am very excited to invite you exclusively to our first Master Class located in beautiful Locarno, Switzerland.
Five years ago we launched a unique education program for surgeons with an interest in premium IOLs: the Medicontur Premium Class.  Through the years this program has enabled many doctors to initiate their premium practice and subsequently, advance the refractive outcome of their patients.
As the level of expertise increases, it is important to keep track of the most recent scientific findings and innovations on the field. This is why we have taken an important step in developing a higher-level platform for premium cataract surgeons: The Medicontur Master Class.
The MMC revolves around scientific evidence and aims for an integration into clinical practice. The program provides a unique opportunity to experience best-practice techniques and procedures, as well as a high-level platform to discuss difficult patient cases.
Please see the preliminary program and register in the form below.
Yours sincerely,

Excursion to Cimetta

Optional Activity – Excursion to Cimetta offering the most wonderful panorama of the Swiss Alps followed by a visit of the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso

The mountain region of Cardada Cimetta offers a truly unique view overlooking the entire area of Locarno as well as Switzerland’s two extremes: the lowest point, Lake Maggiore, and the highest one, the Dufour peak located on the Monte Rosa mountain range. The summit is easily accessible from Hotel Belvedere by taking the funicular railway to Orselina, then the cable car to Cardada (1340 m) and finally the chair lift to reach one of most enchanting summits in Locarno: Cimetta (1670 m). Cimetta offers a breathtaking view on the Swiss Alps and a spectacular panoramic view over Lake Maggiore –  every moment spent at this magical location will become a treasured memory. We enjoy some coffee at a characteristic restaurant in panoramic position in Cardada then we take the cablecar back to Orselina, where we will  visit the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso (monastery of the 15th century). From the monastery there is a direct path back to the hotel. Although only approximately 15-20 minutes of walking is included in the program,  appropriate footwear is required.
